WTF is warwick top lane??

I always thought it was a sleeper pick but with lethal tempo its absolutely cancer broken. I'm sure I am ruffling some feathers but after getting destroyed by it a couple times I tried it out and jesus, I'm seriously considering making it my main this season, at least until lethal tempo is balanced. What is even the counter? I played against it back to back as singed with conq and forfeited the lane until 6, where singed's ult gives 40% healing cut and it might has well have been 0. win hard on a trade, he heals to full on 2 qs. go even on an all in and lose out due to lethal stacked and increased healing/atk speed due to lower health.

His weakness is mana... God his mana is terrible. 1 w uses up like a quarter. Even with d-ring + presence of mind + manaflow band you'll still sometimes run out. Also he has terrible base stats. He can easily be onehit when he doesn't have his e up by any kind of burst. He also can't escape well meaning that when he falls behind it hits hard.

Anybody else getting WW banned WAY more than previously?
I'm Iron 1/2 (bad I know) but since the split I seriously have played more games as my backup jungler than WW (i'm basically a one trick WW).
I have 8 games played, 50% warwick bans. And I've dodged 2 ww bans in the last 3 days.
Lolalytics says 1% ban rate, like wtf seriously.

Iron typically has a 15-20% WW ban rate, Bronze around 10%, and Silver around 5%.
WW is in a pretty good spot with Triforce, so the bans tend to creep up more.

So how busted is Warwick 1v1?
Was playing Nocturne top vs a Warwick. Solo killed him twice and was a level ahead with a full items while he had components. I hit everything and spell shielded his fear but he still killed me ? In my minion wave? When he was ignited ?
What do I do against this champ?

WTF June Warwick is essential

In the Warwick homestead there is a woman June Warwick which is essential for no reason. She is not relevalt to the main plot, and involved only in two sidequests. But despite that fact even console command "setessential" can't make her killable. Looks like in Fallout 5 we'll end up with everybody being essential, corridor world design and linear questline.
